"Paddle Up" caters to athletes age 18+ of all experience levels! Whether you are a "newbie", a tournament player, or just interested in working on a particular facet of your game, Dawn's drills, camps, lessons and clinics give you lots of options. A new option this year is a ball machine workout as well. Check out Dawn's lessons and drills below to get started in time for the summer season of fun and fitness!

For beginners we start with the basics: history and culture of the game, rules, scoring, basic strokes and how open play works. Drills and lessons employ only the best proven techniques used by the top players in the game. Be assured, it is a priority for all participants to have balanced and equal workout partners to maximize the benefits of drills for all players. . Time to start winning at open play!
Intense sessions improve endurance while sharpening skills. Activities are designed to build skills using hard work layering learning and practice in a logical progression of increasing difficulty. to push each player to their own next level. Includes, 3rd and 5th shot work, hard drives and footwork. *Not recommended for those with poor mobility or serious physical limitations.

EXTREME Ball Machine Workout:
1 Person: $70/hour
2 People: $50/hour
All levels
$50 per person, one hour session
Maximum 2 People
An intense 60-minute workout using the Lobster pickleball machine while putting you through your paces focusing on intense repetition of volleys, blocked volleys, and 3rd shot drops. NOT for beginners, must be at least a 2.5 level.
Private Small Group Mini Camp: $120/person
All levels
$50 per person, one hour session
Minimum 8-Maximum 12 People
Players must be 3.0-3.25 level. This 2-hour Mini-Camp is for the competitive player wanting to put in the work to move their game to the next level. If your motto is "pickleball is fun, but it's more fun if I win" then this is the right place for you!
We will cover offensive dinking, 3rd shot, 4th shot, setting up the lob, running down the lob, serving and returning, footwork, blocking hard shots and more.
Prerequisites: well-rounded player who has all basic shots including some success with 3rd shot.

Includes physically challenging repetitive drills to improve all shots including serve and return plus all other basic strokes, how to choose the right shot, footwork, court position and the mental game. ( Instructor retains the right to change player partnering at her discretion to keep all players appropriately matched by ability). Most improved player award and chances to win prizes! Bring your own water bottle and prepare to sweat!
ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE
6-WEEK SKILLS-DRILLS-PLAY: $180/person

Minimum 12-Maximum 20 People
Includes physically challenging combination drills to mimic game situations. Develop defense and offense. Work on mechanics of various shots including 3rd Shot Drop, basic strokes, choosing the right shot, footwork, moving with partner and court position. ( Instructor retains the right to change player partnering to keep all players appropriately matched by ability). Bring your own water bottle. Prepare to sweat!
